CanSeq

The Use of Whole-Exome Sequencing to Guide the Care of Cancer Patients

CanSeq brings the use of whole exome sequencing (WES) into the care of adult patients with cancer with a specific focus in lung and colorectal cancer. The goal of CanSeq is to investigate the viability of integrating WES information into the care of lung and colorectal cancer patients.

CanSeq seeks to establish a framework for processing and interpreting the data provided by WES and integrating this information into the care of cancer patients. The final product of CanSeq is to configure clinical formalism that enable oncologists to incorporate genomic information into their management plan and report the results to cancer patients and their families.
